No More Dental Anxiety

Dental anxiety is a real disorder and affects a large number of children and adults.

Dr. Gregory has a lot of compassion when it comes to the treatment of patients with anxiety. You don’t have to let fear keep you from caring for the health of your mouth and the beauty of your smile.

We offer various forms of “twilight sleep” for patients including:

  • Laughing gas (nitrous oxide)
  • Pill-form sedation (oral sedation)
  • Intravenous (IV) sedation

How It Works

Patients can show up for their visit and take a nice nap while their dental work is taken care of.

All of Dr. Gregory’s patients are breathing on their own during this “nap” which is a much safer form of sedation than “general sedation” done in a hospital environment. Most patients don’t remember the procedure afterwards and wake up in their own bed at home under the care of their loved ones.

Patients with severe anxiety may even need to “nap” during routine dental cleanings until they gradually move toward a more confident and even enjoyable dental experience!

Depending on the type of sedation you choose, it might be best to have someone available to drive you home after your treatment. You may also consider not returning to work that day. Dr. Gregory will be able to give you good advice on that topic when you discuss your sedation options.

UPDATE: We now have in an “In House” anesthesiologist! This offers several important advantages for you during your procedures.

"How do you describe something that is so superior to anyone else that you have ever experienced. There are no words to describe the skill of Dr. Bollman. She is the best!! I will leave it at that"

New Family Dentistry Patient

"I’ve been a patient of Dr. Gregory for the past 6 months and it has been a very pleasant experience. She and her staff are wonderful and have made me feel very comfortable. They are always very upbeat! Dr. Gregory did an excellent job of explaining the procedure that would be performed and it went very well – almost pain-free! I highly recommend her."

From a Patient Who Had Laser Gum Treatment

"I was happy to find Dr. Gregory after a previous bad experience. I was very nervous and she put me at ease about the procedure and made a follow-up call that evening to be sure all was well. I will feel very comfortable recommending her to all my friends."
